Validating prices, instrument identities and historical data across all ten metals…
Futures prices represent the named exchange contracts. Steel means U.S. Midwest hot-rolled coil; different steel grades and regions have different prices. Copper uses pounds, steel uses short tons, aluminum and the LME cash references use metric tonnes, and precious metals use troy ounces. Prices in different units cannot be compared directly.
Futures signals use the existing four-factor metals model: long trend (35%), moving-average structure (30%), RSI momentum (20%) and candlesticks (15%). Each needs at least 200 valid sessions, matching instrument identity and currency, a dated quote, consistent price scale and reported trading volume. Continuous contract rolls can affect historical indicators. Data may be delayed; closed markets retain their last observation date.
Lead, nickel and zinc show dealer-published daily LME cash-settlement references. They receive no score because this feed does not supply the validated OHLC history required by the model. Ranked lists contain only eligible futures signals and are never padded to five or ten. Read the metals methodology.
